Harry Harris

I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and I hope to continue creating art for the rest of my life. As an artist I have explored a wide range of styles and techniques, and have been fortunate enough to work in a variety of roles and environments.

I trained as a Fine Artist, graduating in 2004, but have always been a keen carpenter, designer and builder. This shows in my work and I am always keen to learn new skills. Whether I am painting, making furniture or working with others, my inspiration is to show that Art is for everybody to enjoy, and accessible to anybody.

I always try to use recycled or found materials wherever possible, and love to work as part of an exchange of skills. Its great to show that with a few cheap or free materials, and a bit of patience, it is possible to make high quality, attractive and affordable art.

This website is where I publish the results for all my visitors to enjoy. I encourage you to browse through my artwork and if you come away from here inspired, then my goal has been achieved.

I am currently living in Manchester and if you would like to learn more about booking myself or my associate Ed DeLacy for a workshop programme (which include canvas stretching, painting, leather work, computer aided drawing, recycled furniture and cassette lamp making) then please send me an email expressing interest and I will send you the relevant details. (I will be adding a Workshop section to the site soon with more details)
